Sammy Gyamfi Posts Photo With A Simple Question To Ghanaians

Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress has sent a new message to Ghanaians. It can be recalled that last week there was news that fuel prices were about to go up again. This actually got a lot of people worried because this year alone there has been a plethora of fuel increases.

Fuel increases tend to influence a lot of things in the country starting from transportation, foodstuffs and many other things. Indeed, Total one of the leading distributing companies has reflected the new prices of fuel on their boards. The new prices have got many talking. In a simple post on Facebook Sammy Gyamfi posed a simple question to Ghanaians.

“Four More To…”. Interestingly, the same photo was also posted by Felix Ofosu Kwakye, another NDC Communications director and former deputy minister. It is interesting to note that normally world prices of fuel are what causes governments and companies to increase prices of fuel. However, many experts the government of the day to also show compassion and subsidize so that citizens will not be affected adversely.

The question remains as to how many will understand that prices have shot up globally? Is this a propaganda from the opposition NDC or the government has been appalling in regularizing prices for her citizens at a time when people are still recovering from Covid-19? Government keeps complaining and using Covid-19 as an excuse, should they also have been sympathetic to know that citizens are still licking their economic wounds as a result of Covid-19?

Check out some of the answers to the question posed by Sammy Gyamfi;
