Ghana'sGhana's development without the legislative arm of government becomes incomplete under the democratic dispensation where the Executive, Judiciary arms of government are supposed to work assyduously with legislative in a separate ways to ensure vast and uninterrupted development.

Since Ghana attained the Fourth Republic and a civilian rule, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin had been an instrumental figure in parliament and he remains the old serving MP in Ghana.

He had served the nation in numerous capacities as an MP, deputy minister and the likes and he possesses rich experience that every young politician could afford to tap.

During his investiture into the speakership position after he had outwitted the former Speaker of Parliament 'SoP', many Ghanaians registered their displeasure with the fact that the sway in the political structure, different president with different Speaker could cause a sabotage.

Indeed, Bagbin had been vindicated looking at the smooth running of affairs and how he had received praises from Ghanaians including the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.

Most people had begun to see eye to eye with this man and vying for the ticket for the presidential candidature for the National Democratic Congress, the NDC shall be in the right direction.

The Nubalaanang Youth in the NDC in the Upper West had earlier on commended the Speaker for his good and hardwork as he started as an MP in 1993 and as a speaker, steering the affairs of the nation in various directions.

He had sent a message to the world that leadership role is a collective effort from various parties who team up to spearhead development and not on the grounds of sabotage.

He has no personal issue with anybody within and outside his political party and as a Speaker he had only wished the nation well in all her endeavors.

The good example he had set on the grounds of budgetary allocations and spendings as cited by the president of Ghana on Friday, 12th March only confronted him to make a scrutiny to save Ghanaians.

The issue of capital needed by the country had been in shortage and it had compelled the top hierarchy to resort to rampant borrowings and grants attached with strings and conditionalities.

Despite the vast natural resources at the nation's disposal, mismanagement and misplaced priorities had conquered the nation's effort to speed the developmental agendas for the past years.

It was in view of this that the Speaker gave a stern warning on 16th March, 2021 to committees that may deemed it appropriate and would consider budget estimates against the approving estimates with the figures offers by the head of the Executive, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.

He had threatens also that he wouldn't forward appropriation bill to the president for his assent when passed if negotiations are not done to find a common ground over the decision by the president to reduce the budget by parliament and the Judiciary.

He had wished only to seal every loopholes and prevented any diversions of the scarce resources for individuals private gains and such is the works of a true statesman.
