Alex Bonney believes those make waves and declaring their intensions are just rushing
Tensions have been high among the hierarchy of the ruling New Patriotic Party, after some prominent members in the party have started to make their intentions of leading the party in the next general elections clear.
Following Supreme Court ruling that Nana Addo won the 2020 elections legitimately, campaigns upon campaigns have been made by some party faithfuls, with some even going to the extent of making posters and flyers for the likes of Dr Bawmia, Alan Kyeremanten, Dr Owusu Akoto among other to lead the party in the next general elections.
According to him, the party will eventually choose someone in the end but it is not yet time. Disclosing it on Winners FM Morning Show, Mr. Bonney said the NPP will have to conduct Constituency, Regional and National elections to elect party leaders across all levels.
And without with that in place, those aspirants must rally behind the party to fully elect its Constituency, Regional and National executives before thinking about leading the party in the next general elections.
