Bulldog sends a strong message to Akufo Addo

Bulldog has sent a strong message to Akuffo Addo.

Lawrence Nana Asiamah, popularly known in Showbiz as Bulldog is one of the famous artist manager in Ghana. He has managed some of the top musicians including Shatta Wale which has arguably shot his name over the clouds.

Not long ago, Bulldog caused a stir online after passing a derogatory comment about women in general. He is known to be one of the outspoken artist managers in Ghana.

Politics as sometimes called "dirty game" is the only thing that allows anyone to voice their opinions on matters in a way he or she prefers. Bulldog has reacted to the directive by the President of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo to enforce the wearing of face masks in the country.

The Ghanaian government in his 11th televised address to the nation made the wearing of face masks mandatory in public imposing a fine and imprisonment on people who flout this order. He also directed the police to enforce the policy as a way to stem the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

Several Ghanaians upon hearing this directive reacted to it. Some were content with the order whilst others criticized the government for such a directive in this unusual time.

Bulldog has also reacted to the President's message. He said it is 'senseless' and 'insensitive' for the President to give that order. He claims that, the president has already failed woefully in delivery of its 2016 manifesto promises and so cannot even provide free face masks to every Ghanaian.

According to him, prior the advent of the coronavirus, people were already living in hunger and now the we are all hit by the virus, it is the responsibility of the President to assist the citizens, at least by providing free face masks to every Ghanaian. He questioned the government about all the loans and grants they went for to fight the virus.

He made this statement on his official facebook page.

The post reads, "This is senseless and insensitive! You promised 1D 1F and you failed woefully. You cannot deliver ordinary one face mask to every person."

"Even before the COVID-19 hit us, people could barely feed on haphazard way you run this economy. Now that we are down and put finding our feet you threaten to imprisonment and fines........... Can't you provide free protective masks to the helpless and vulnerable in society?"

Read his post below:

He criticised the government of failing to learn from other world leaders. He said that the President must learn from other leaders around the world who have successfully manage the COVID-19 and do same for Ghanaians.
