Social Media has been set ablaze after a photo of the formar president, HE John Dramani Mahama standing in front of the completed Ho Airport was spotted online. The Ho Regional Airport was started in 2015 by the then president, John Dramani Mahama. It was however completed by the NPP government led by Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo in the year 2017. It was opened for commercial traffic in 2021 after completion.
The president who started it visited the Airport to see how it is now since he wasn't able to complete it before he left office. Following this, social media users have compared the work of the president and the then president on the Ho Regional Airport. The comparison has sparked different reactions from the good people of Ghana.
Some have noted that both presidents deserve an applaud because Akufo-Addo wouldn't have completed it if it wasn't started by Mahama. Some too have noted that Akufo-Addo should be commended for this because some works of the NPP government back then was left to rot by the NDC Government. Some too added that it's the work of every Government to build a country so this things shouldn't be a news.
