
The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Odododiodio constituency, Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye reveals his identity to be part of the Owoo family but never had his portion of the land.
According to Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye, his grandmother and grandfather had a divorce and the grandmother went in to marry a man called Nii Owoo during those times.
Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye discloses his grandmother's name as Florence Klottey Vanderpuye.
Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye became one family with the Owoos immediately Florence Klottey Vanderpuye married the man called Nii Owoo.
Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye said Florence Klottey Vanderpuye was already rich and has lands to the extent of giving out most of them for the development of psychiatric hospitals, Accra polyclinic, and many more.
Although Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye was part of the Owoo family, he claims that when the lands were shared among the families, he was never given some.
