“When I was in PURC we always had government issues. President Kufour, Rawlings, Atta Mills, and Mahama, all of them. The person who understood issues a bit was President Mahama; he had issues with his cabinet because he thought that we were doing our job but none of them thought that we were doing our job. All of them thought we were trying to destroy their government; they tried to influence our work. I remember one of the times we did a tariff and all of us were almost sacked”, the former PURC director of public relations, Nana Yaa Jantuah emphatically revealed.
