It was a thrilling morning today, Monday, August 30, 2021 as Captain Smart took his audience to another level with latest news trending in Ghana. Captain Smart has declared himself the voice for the people and this has apparently attracted so many criticisms against him. This morning Captain Smart hit hard at the ruling New Patriotic Party for something that happened over the weekend.
It can be recalled that in Suhum at a funeral ground, an aide/driver of the MP for the area used a metal to slash people at the spot. It was in the heat of argument that the aide rushed to the MP’s car and brought out a brandishing weapon which he used on some people, including an NPP regional communications secretary. This threw the whole funeral into confusion as people run helter skelter.
According to Captain Smart, this event had dented the reputation of the NPP. He noted that this showed how unruly people had penetrated the party and gradually destroying the party.
“You people are villagers. Why should members of the same party be fighting against themselves? You have disgraced yourselves. My own party people have destroyed their reputation. Everyone knows I am NPP but let me boldly say that my party people are villagers. How can you go and destroy someone’s funerals? If I am not arrested today, then no one can ever arrest me today for my choice of words” Captain Smart said
Captain Smart called on the government to wake up and do the needful because the nation was in ruins and things are turning from bad to worse. He challenged the president to put his house in order and improve on the living conditions of the ordinary Ghanaian.
