Ashanti: Gov't Announces Construction Of Five Interchanges

The Minister of Roads, Mr Kwasi Amoako-Atta, has said the Akufo-Addo government has built a larger number of streets in the Ashanti Region than any organization. 

Amoako-Atta has subsequently dismissed cases that the administering New Patriotic Party (NPP) has neglected to build streets in the district which turns out to be the gathering's fortress. 

Tending to the media in the wake of visiting some progressing projects in the locale, Amoako-Atta promoted the public authority's accomplishment at the street area depicting them as phenomenal, declaring that five additional trades will be developed in the district.

As per him, Oforikrom, Bekwai, Ahodwo, Suame and Santasi traffic circles have been recognized as zones the exchange tasks will affect.

Second year of streets 

During the 2021 State of the Nation Address (SONA), President Akufo-Addo repeated that 2021 will be second year of streets.

This year will be the second year of streets as we proceed with our emphasis on managing the shortages of our street framework," Akufo-Addo said.
