The host of the Newsfile show, Samson Lardy Anyenini, in an attempt to explain why Ghana's current democracy is a hijacked one and a failed state, dropped a touching story of how some young people were attacked and butchered just because of their attempt to defend their party leaders. According to him, he wept on watching one of the videos where someone was hacked with a cutlass.
"That combat explains why party supporters have been hacking opponents in internal elections. The police must be updating us on what has become of the gentleman who was nearly killed in Dansoman, thus Ablekuma West. And almost a month after they announced the arrest of his assailant.
"I wept watching the video of those who were hacking their fellow humans with cutlasses. The NASARA coordinator for Sisala West, Musa Iddrisu who is battling for his life in the hospital is returning to the hospital for the second time. We were told that he was attacked in a similar fashion during a polling station election. They attacked him last week again trying to kill him for allegedly purchasing a talisman to use in spiritually manipulating elections in favor of his candidate."
