Angry Reactions From Ghanaians After Parliament Approved The 2022 Budget

About some weeks ago, Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori Atta read the 2022 budget on the floor of Parliament. After the budget was read, the discussions started. Many people could not fathom as to how the government wants to tax momo transactions. In the same budget it was revealed that road tolls have been abolished in the country.

Last week, Parliament voted on the budget and it was rejected by the minority when the majority boycotted the voting. Today, the 2022 Budget which has been named the "Agyenkwa Budget" has been approved by parliament of Ghana. How Parliament managed to approve the budget has casted a lot of doubts in the minds of Ghanaians.After the budget was approved, a lot of Ghanaians have expressed shocked as they have angrily reacted to it.
