The kind of heat and pressure poured on our political leaders by these freedom fighters activists is becoming unbearable for them and unfortunately for the current NPP government they are the main victim at the receiving end. And from the look of things there seems to be more fireworks in the coming months.
As early as August 4th what is described to be the hottest nationwide demonstration arguably after the infamous "Ku me preko" demonstration in the 90s is going to hit the major streets of Accra. And in preparation to this hot event the leading conveners of the #fixthecountry# campaign were seen this morning at the studios of Accra based Onua TV's maakye program hosted by Captain smart.
Speaking live on the said program, Mr Kofi Koranteng who was an independent presidential candidate in the 2020 elections and at the same time a leading member of the fixthecountry# campaign urged Ghanaian to end the era of changing power between the two most popular political parties in the country, the NPP and the NDC.
According to him these two political parties and their candidates they bring on board every election period are birds of the same feather who just hide behind these two parties to enrich themselves and their families at the expense of the ordinary Ghanaian.
He described the NPP and the NDC as incompetent twins who always bring incompetent candidates to increase the woes of the country. He therefore advised it is high time we change hands to bring a different person outside these two parties.
Do you think there is any other better candidate that can help fix the country aside what the NPP and the NDC will bring on board?
