A top journalist on Joy FM, Kojo Yankson, has revealed to Ghanaians, the only President they should forever trust. This revelation came in reaction to a statement from a Ghanaians Bishop that the constitution has given one person (President) to much power to manage the country like their family property.
Kojo Yankson explained that although he might be disproved, the only President which Ghanaians must trust must have done this.
"The only president we should ever trust is the one who gives up some of his powers. And until we will have a President who will see through to the end, a constitutional reform agenda, do not trust any President who comes along. Do not trust them because they come and sit in a seat that has far too much powers for the state to succeed but they do not change it.
"So they weigh two things, their personal authority and ability to take personal advantage of the power that comes along with Presidency."
