Ghanaian journalist and Editor in Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Kweku Baako has finally expressed his high disappointment in President Akufo-Addo and how far he's brought this country. He also revealed strange secrets about Ghana going to the International Monetary Fund to seek an economic bailout.
Kweku Baako revealed that he is very much disappointed in Akufo-Addo for sending the country to the IMF for an economic bailout. He continued to mention that, even though the country has gone to IMF several times for a bailout but we keep going there because we keep making the same mistakes. Kweku Baako made these bold revelations while speaking on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV this Thursday, July 7, 2022.
“ I’ve always had difficulties with the IMF and let me the honest with you; while it is the right of the government to opt for that, I felt disappointed in Akufo-Addo. I remember in 2015, I felt the same way even though I publicly said it was the right of the government to go for it but regrettable same with 2009.”
“So, it not good enough and we cannot continue going in circles and each time we take a programme, we appear to have succeeded in implementing the programme and within three to four years, we are back to square one, it doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t make you a proud Ghanaian.” Kweku Baako boldly revealed this.
