The battle is not to the swift - Prof. Naana wows chiefs and people of Mumuni in the Western region

With less than 83 days to go in the December elections, the 2 major political parties in the country have stepped up efforts to win votes from the grassroots. Dr. Bawumia is currently in the North while Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman, the NDC running mate is in the Western region.

The former Education minister and now running mate of John Mahama began her tour of the Western region this week. So far she has interacted with many people and things are turning out fine. Today Tuesday September 15, 2020 she visited Mumuni and the residents couldn’t help but mob her.

Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman bemoaned the fact that for the past 4 years the area has not received any new projects since the NDC left power. She also lamented the fact that the NPP government have abandoned the unfinished projects left by the NDC. She advised the people to disregard the huge promises of the ruling NPP which are not feasible.

She pledged that the NDC were committed to education and will make sure many of the residents get access to education. She mentioned that the NPP have not even built a single SHS school and yet claim to be better than the NDC. She charged the vociferous crowd to pray for the NDC and vote the NPP out of office in December.

Can the NDC garner enough votes from the Western region which is a swing region to win the December elections?
