Many government communicators have lashed out John Mahama for his Ghana at crossroads lecture. It can be recalled that last week John Mahama presented a lecture where he reiterated that the Akufo-Addo government is incompetent and had drained the coffers of the Ghanaian purse. John Mahama noted that the E-levy is a direct consequence of the incompetence as the ordinary Ghanaian is being forced to pay for the negative actions of the government.
In response to what John Mahama said, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Director of Local Government and Decentralization at the Presidency has rather noted that John Mahama is rather at crossroads and not Ghana. Dennis mentions that the government is doing everything possible to transform Ghana while the NDC are trying to bring the country back. Dennis averred that it will be impossible for John Mahama to repeal the Electronic tax.
In explaining why John Mahama is rather at crossroads, Dennis said it was laughable as to why Ghanaians will want John Mahama back. He opined that John Mahama has a record and Ghanaians will look at it and judge him. He called on John Mahama to retire and allow young faces to compete because it was apparent that he is confused and lacking ideas to develop Ghana. He boldly declared that at this point in John Mahama’s life he is confused on what he will bring to the table after wasting his first term in office as president.
