The leader of the biggest opposition party in Ghana Democratic Congress in the last election, former President John Dramani Mahama has jabbed Electoral Commissioner, Jean Mensah for saying that the 2020 elections was free and fair.
John Mahama who is not comfortable with supreme court decisions on how they failed to allow Jean Mensah not to testify when he sent his election petition to court told Heman community that what Jean Mensa was saying is a lie and explain things to them.
John Mahama stated that if Jean Mensah said the election was free and fair, why did she run away from testifying about the election when called to speak in court? He said what happened was not fair and Jean Mensah missing the witness box in court means that she did a very bad job.
According to John Mahama, the leadership of NDC and some stake holders have written a proposal to the electoral Commission. He told chief and elders in Heman community to support them to look into what happened in 2020 elections. He told them that they have learnt their lessons from what happened in court.
