The fact that the developmental projects that are going on in the township of Hohoe is worthy of note is that most people would not believe that those developmental projects could go on over there.
The first reason for this judgement is the fact that Hohoe is a township in the Volta Region of Ghana. From time immemorial, the Volta Region of Ghana has been branded as a National Democratic Congress Party stronghold.
Below is an image of Nana Addo Dankwa with the chiefs and people of Hohoe.
Most Ghanaians believe that once a region or town is not strongly attached to a ruling party, the rate at which developmental projects would be done in that region is less. It is a fact that citizens do vote for development. Although it is the duty of the government to develop every region in Ghana, Ghanaians do believe that party affiliation is a great factor as far as the development of a region is concerned.
Above are some chiefs that have attended the ceremony with Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo.
As the president has updated his profile with yet another developmental project that has taken place at Hohoe in the Volta Region, a facebook user was quick to state a reason why such developmental project would be taking place despite the fact that Hohoe is situated in the Volta Region of Ghana.
Salou Mohammed is of the view that these developmental projects are taking place at Hohoe because they have decided to vote massively for the New Patriotic Party.
Secondly, Wysopera can allege that the parliamentarian currently representing the constituency is from the New Patriotic Party.
It can be recalled that the New Patriotic Party won the Hohoe Constituency Parliamentary Seat and they have also voted for the presidential candidate who is currently the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo.
Do you believe that Hohoe can be called the New York of the Volta Region because of these reasons?
