John Mahama Receives Consolidated Salary Which Includes All His Expenses - A/R Minister Reveals

The Ashanti regional minister, Honorable Simon Osei Mensah has dropped some revelations about the kind of salary John Dramani Mahama receives at the end of each month.

Speaking on Okay FM this morning, the minister made it clear that John Dramani Mahama receives consolidated salary every month. According to him, government includes the salary of John Mahama's aides to the salary of John Mahama at the end of each month.

Also, all other expenses such as fuel, rent and other expenses are included in John Mahama's salary. For this reason, government does not need to pay John Mahama any additional money for other expenses since he already receives them together each month.

"Were we not in this country when government paid aides of government appointees separately from what the appointee takes. Government later changed it and brought in the consolidated salary. This means that all the benefits and to be given to your workers have all been put together in the salary of one person."

"So if you are being paid consolidated salary, then it means that all those benefits are inside the salary. John Mahama is aware of the consolidated salary. He receives consolidated salary and he must use some to pay all his aides and other expenses" he said.

This comes after John Mahama opened up on the privileges he has been denied despite serving as president of the Republic. The former President says having been deprived of his ex-gratia, he is still paying for basic amenities and other utilities. He disclosed that provisions for electricity, water, residential and office space, fuel, airfare and healthcare amongst others are all borne by him without any support from government.
