The managing editor for insight news paper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has cautions minister for lands and natural resources, Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor that he should be very careful with the ministry handed over to him by president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for everybody in Ghana is watching him.
Kwesi Pratt Jnr speaking on peace fm morning show today hosted by Nana Yaw Kesseh stated that, the new minister for lands and natural resources is his friend and he knows his capacity and what he can do in fighting against illegal mining in the country.
According to Kwesi Pratt Jnr, Mr Abu Jinapor was not there by luck but the president intentionally sent him there to work perfectly for Ghana because a lot of famous had tried to fight against illegal (galamsey) mining but they couldn't succeed.
Kwesi Pratt stated that Hon Abu Jinapor's strength and energy is very good to do the work and he should be very careful because they're watching him closely and if he should fail Ghanaians, he will bring disaster to the nation.
He told the host of the show that he believed that Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor can do the work and he wish him well but if he fails, he will hear from him.
Kwesi Pratt Jnr who loves the minister sends a message to him by saying that he should visit all the sectors under the ministry and collect more information so that, engineers, and surveyors will not mislead him on his work for that made some ministers to lose the fight against galamsey.
On the show he salute NDC and NPP for not using fight against illegal mining as Politics and called on Ghanaians to support the government to fight it and make Ghana great again.
"I will be worried if people say it's only NDC doing galamsey and i will be worried at the same time if people say it's only NPP doing galamsey. It both of them doing it and I will salute all of them for not doing politics with it this time. Let's help fight against galamsey because we have to protect our land but the minister is my friend and I will tell him that he should be very careful because we're watching him. I know he can do the work but if he fail Ghanaians it will bring a disaster and he will hear from me" he said.
