I Will Personally File A Motion If Assin North MP Goes Ahead With This Action – NPP MP Reveals

James Gyakye Quayson has been on almost every news portal for the past few days. In a Supreme Court ruling this week the MP was barred from performing any duties related to his position as an MP. Last year a Cape Coast high court annulled the results of the 2020 parliamentary elections in Assin North over the eligibility of James in contesting the elections.

With this court ruling it is uncertain the limits on James. On The Keypoints, Dzifa Bampoe, the host tried asking his panelists if James Quayson could at least go to his office at Job 600. The panelists disagreed with lawyer Martin Kpebu saying that James could go because he hadn’t been entirely removed from office and that he was just being investigated. Lawyer Amaliba of the NDC legal team also agreed that James could at least use his office.

Law maker for Asante Akyem, Andy Appiah Kubi disagreed and said that he was daring James to try and enter the house or his office and all will see what will happen. According to him, he will personally file a suit in court if James dares walks to his office. He argued that with the Supreme Court ruling James Quayson no more has the right to even use his office or precincts of Parliament.
