Ghanaians Will Be Proud Of Us For Going To IMF: NPP Presidential Aspirant Set The Records Straight

The recent circulating news that has sparked massive stir, debates, and arguments across all social media platforms was when the renowned NPP Presidential aspirant and Minister for Agriculture boldly came out to set the records straight about NPP finally going to the IMF amongst other related issues.

Speaking in a recent interview on Adom Television, the Agric Minister, Dr. Afriyie Akoto revealed that, even though individuals are in a dilemma considering how the NPP government made an unexpected U-turn to go to the IMF, unlike the previous government, Ghanaians will undoubtedly be proud of the Akufo Addo government for seeking financial support from IMF.

“Ghanaians will soon praise us for going to IMF. IMF is not a foreign agency, we are a member of the IMF. We are a very prominent African member of the IMF. We are not going to beg any stranger because the IMF is there to advise governments about the liquidity situation in the country. The President has now deemed it fit that, it is time to speak to them. So, we are speaking to them”, the Agric Minister, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto emphatically revealed.
