Ghanaians are questioning the New Patriotic Party government on why they are taxing them vigorously as they were told in 2016 that if they win power, Ghana will move from taxation to production but the NPP government has introduced new taxes which has shocked them.
Leading to that Toobu Peter has stated that the vehicle moving the country from taxation to production has crashed and fell into a valley of corruption today, Sunday, 18th July, 2021 with massive reaction.
According to his message, what has happened to the country is a fatal accident and no truck can help in retrieving the wreckage caused by the ruling government or "vehicle".
"The Vehicle moving Ghana from Taxation to Production crushed into a valley of Corruption. It is a fatal accident and no recovery truck can assist in retrieving the wreckage" he said on his social media wall.
Toobu Peter's message sought to say that NPP government led by President Nana Akufo-Addo told Ghanaians that they will move Ghana from taxation to production when former President, John Dramani Mahama is taxing Ghanaians to build hospital, roads, schools, Chips company, and many other things which NPP told them that they will help to reduce taxation but NPP government has "crashed" it rather. And no truck can recover the economy crashed by NPP government.
Ghanaians reacting to his message stated that "a vehicle assembled with deception, occupied by Junior serpents and driven by their Mother will land it nowhere but their home (Corruption). The saying that "if you pretentiously build a house with saliva, it will be crushed when the DEW fall" has been given true meaning. Painfully, we are faced with the remains of this wreckage i.e, brutalities, threats of free speech, fear of being truthful etc."
Another Ghanaian stated that: It's unfortunate, Ghanaians made the wrong choice ever in the history of our Fourth constitution.
Other people stated that Toobu Peter's message is "more than million words of wisdom! We need a new truck but it cannot easily continue the journey."
"Ghana isn’t only a crime scene but a circus as well" another Ghanaian stated.
