MP Joins Laborers By Carrying Mortar Despite Providing Materials For The Building Of A Health Centre

Ghanaian politicians seems to be changing of late. Gone are the days when you hardly see Members of Parliament or Political leaders doing laborer's works or petty works just to win votes but currently some of them are actively putting themselves in the shoes of their constituents.

Even though, in recent times these politicians still do not do these things but few of them go down there ( their constituencies) and work with them to help solve their problems.

One notable Member of Parliament has been observed and pictured or seen taking up a labourers work in his Constituency despite the fact that he has already provided materials and finances for the construction of a health centre in the Constituency.

This said public figure is the Member of Parliament of the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency, honourable Kofi Arko Nokoe.

The MP was busily seen using spade, shovel, carrying concrete and mortar with wheelbarrow to help in the building of a health centre for the people of Nyamebekyere (32) in his constituency.

The Member of Parliament Initially presented 50 cements to help start the foundation of the health centre.

He revealed on his Facebook platform that health centre and the place where these health workers lived was not conducive enough to provide health related activities and there by decided to build a new health centre for them. Initially their health centre and that of the health officers used to live and operate in a Mud building.
