General Secretary of the Socialist Movement, Kwesi Pratt has reacted to the budget 2022 which was has accordingly been rejected in Parliament. His view on the matter is most relevant since he gave his predictions on the form the budget would take and as to whether it will be improve.
Speaking on the Alhaji and Alhaji Show on Pan African TV, Kwesi Pratt jabbed the NPP for displaying gross incompetence despite their earlier boast whiles in opposition that they had the men and intellectuals in their party. He queried the NPP as to what their Economics messiah, that is Bawumia, have done to turn the fortune of the country.
He agreed with the words of Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo when he was in opposition that Ghana is sitting on money but yet hungry. That not withstanding, he believed Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo was trying to score a cheap political point. He revealed that he had finally read the budget and that most of the components of the budget will impose hardship on the people of Ghana. He added that this was the worse budget in the history of the ccountry.
