Any serious New Patriotic Party member by now is contemplating on who becomes the next flagbearer of the party after president Akufo Addo in 2024.
There are lots of factors that are being considered by many Ghanaians in selecting the flagbearer for a great party like the New Patriotic Party. The two sides of the party, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia and Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng are the possible next bid for NPP
There are four important contribution of Dr Mahamadu Bawumia in the New Patriotic Party that is unprecedented and will easily give him upper hand over Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng when it comes to the primaries.
These four contribution makes Dr Mahamadu Bawumia unmatchable
1. He added more votes to the President than any other in Northern Region
2. He won with the largest margin in Northern Region and ever in the history of Yendi.
3. He invested his resources in other constituencies to ensure we annex those seats
4. For once, put aside the strives and struggles of his father.
While we embrace our diversity, many often put competency at the forefront of choices and Dr Mahamadu Bawumia's admirers and critics will confirm that Dr Mahamadu Bawumia's competency and loyalty for the new patriotic party is something that will take him far in the party.
The name Dr Mahamadu Bawumia has become a household name to represent the image of the party you can trust; astute, incorruptible, respectful and team player.
Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng is a good leader but with the presence of Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, he doesn't stand a chance of becoming a flagbearer in NPP
