Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has settled the growing controversies relative to the alleged impersonation of Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya Sara Adwoa Safo.
Social Media has been flooded with videos and pictures of the Dome Kwabenya legislator following the approval of the 2022 budget by a one sided House on Tuesday.
The Gender Minister, Sarah Adwoa Safo has not been regular in Parliament after she put to bed few months ago. Sources say her absence is due to some health issues.
She was however captured in a viral video during the 2022 budget approval in Parliament yesterday.
Many Ghanaians on social media are of the view the, the person captured in the video taking from Parliament is not the Sarah Adwoa Safo. They are of the view that she has been impersonated so as to allow the majority successfully approve the 2022 budget.
However, reacting to the development on Peace FM today, Mr Kweku Baako revealed that the Dome Kwabenya MP returned to Ghana on Saturday.
"I have seen the video. I think she is the one", Mr Baako told Kwame Sefa Kayi, the host of Kokrokoo.
Meanwhile, the North Tongu Member of Parliament, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has hinted that the NDC minority caucus is investigating the alleged case of impersonation following the viral videos and pictures they have received.
He made this revelation on Joy Fm's Super morning show on Wednesday.
