In a tweet posted by the President of the Republic of Ghana on his twitter handle @NAkufuAddo, the president is sanddened by the news of the demise of the Ghana's Ambassador to Ethiopia.
In another tweet supplementing the other, the president extended his sincere condolence to his family and the Ghana's Foriegn Service.
"I am very saddened by the news of the death of Ambassador Albert Ekow Yankey, who served as Chief Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Intergration during my first term in office. Our nation has lost a consummate diplomat, and a devoted public servant.
"I extend my sincere condolences to his family and to the Ghana's Foreign Service. May his soul rest in Perfect peace." The President.
Details of his demise is not yet known. May his soul rest in peace.
