Check What Ablakwa Did To His Constituents After Receiving A Surprise From An Eminent Ghanaian

People call him 'MP mu MP' to wit the MP of all MPs. He is loved by his party dearly and his constituents admire him grately. His opponents cannot hate because he is always on point. His constant criticisms and praises of the Nana Addo government has earned him the accolade 'citizen vigilante'. We are talking about Hon. Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa, the North Tongu legislator.

His fame spread across the country and the international communities started looking for this hardworking Ghanaian MP. He has hosted several high commissioners and other delegations in his constituency.

Over the weekend, the NDC MP recieved a surprise visit from the national chief Imam, His Eminence Dr. Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu. The unexpected visit from the celebrated chief Imam shook the very foundation of Ablakwa and he couldn't hide his joy. The MP took to Facebook to share his enthusiasm.

"It’s been the greatest honour and most solemn privilege hosting His Eminence, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, the National Chief Imam in my beloved constituency today.

We cannot thank the Almighty Allah enough for blessing Ghana with a rare oracle of wisdom, peace and inspiration", Ablakwa joyfully wrote.

The chief Imam congratulated the North Tongu MP and urged him to keep up the good work. He also prayed and asked for Allah's protection for the legislator.

Barely a day after that surprise, Ablakwa decided to share his blessings with his constituents. He visited the Battor Catholic Hospital in another surprise manner. The MP made a donation of some personal protective equipment (PPEs) to the hospital. He also met some patients on admission and exchanged pleasantries with them. Some of the patients couldn't control their emotions seeing their MP in the hospital.

This is how the MP put it;

"Spent today visiting our compatriots on admission at the Battor Catholic Hospital in my beloved constituency.

We have all been sick before, and sometimes all you need is someone showing up to offer encouragement.

I also had great interactions with our dedicated medical staff, and made donations comprising boxes of protective gear, gun thermometers, N95 masks and sanitizers".

Clearly the North Tongu legislator is an asset to not only NDC but Ghana as a whole. Should we have half of such MPs in parliament, Ghana would be a better place. We thereby urge all MPs to emulate the example of Hon. Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa and they will never be attacked in any form by their constituents.

It will be recalled that, about a month ago, MP for Suame constituency who doubles as majority leader and minister for parliamentary affairs was attacked by his constituents. His crime is he failed to use his position and long service to help his constituency in the areas of water, infrastructure and education. It took the timely intervention of the police to safe him from lynching.
