Currently, three party gurus from the New patriotic party are dominating the scene in their urge to become the next president after His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo. We can talk about The Vice President His Excellency Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Honorable Alan Kwadwo Kyeramanteng and Honorable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong the Member of Parliament for the good people of Assin North Central.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, famously known as Chairman Wontumi, has finally endorse the current Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in his presidential bid. It is good to note that, the constitutional demands will not permit His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo to stand as a presidential Candidate again. As a result, a new presidential candidate must be elected from the elephant Party to contest in the 2024 upcoming general elections.
Addressing a group of people in a short video circulating on social media, Mr Bernard Antwi Bosiako ( Chairman Wontumi) openly speaks about his favourite among the three gurus who wish to emerge as the Presidential Candidate for the elephant Party towards election 2024. According to Mr Bernard Boasiako, His Excellency Dr Mahamudu Bawumia must go. He must go as the presidential candidate of the NPP who will be in a better position to help the party to break the 8 in 2024 elections.
The 2024 elections is going to be tough and there is a need to provide a competent candidate who will be able to compete and overcome all other candidates from the various opposition parties especially the biggest opposion party, National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In the view of Chairman Wontumi, His Excellency Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is the best candidate to help NPP to retain the presidential seat in 2024. Massive campaign must be organized to pave way for Dr Bawumian in 2024.
