Dutch Embassy Denies Alhassan Suhuyini Visa:He Vows To Deal With Such Gross Disrespect

The Dutch Embassy in Ghana has denied the member of Parliament for Tamale North, Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini visa to enter the Netherlands and the lawmaker has vowed to report the Embassy for such a gross disrespect.

Alhassan Suhuyini made this revelation on his Facebook page today, October 15, 2021 to the surprise of many Ghanaians.

What is even more surprising was the fact that the visa was applied on his behalf through a Parliamentary protocol but he was still denied the visa.

The main reasons for denying him the visa was that; there was no enough evidence to prove that he would not overstay his visa and he also did not have significant social or economic ties to his home country.

This really comes as a surprise but many people have suggested that he was denied the visa because he is one of eight members of Parliament sponsoring the current anti-LGBTQ+ in Parliament.

LGBTQ+ is legal in the Netherlands and there are rumors that the embassy in Ghana is not happy with the Legislators pushing the bill.

Alhassan Suhuyini has vowed to report the embassy to the Foreign Affairs Ministry for disrespecting a Legislative member.
