Immediate past National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has made his first public appearance after his defeat in last Saturday’s Delegates’ Congress in Accra.
Mr Ampofo is among dignitaries present at Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi’s private marriage ceremony which is currently ongoing somewhere in Accra.
Mr Ofosu Ampofo was spotted sitting close to his successor, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, alias General Mosquito, at the marriage ceremony.
He is captured on camera wearing an all-black political suit with Mr Asiedu Nketiah also wearing all-black political suit.
Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer of the NDC is tying the knot to his long-time fiancé in Accra, today, Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
The ceremony, according to the reports, is being held at the Chain Homes Estate in Accra, and expected to be graced by leading members of the NDC, including former President John Dramani Mahama.
The reports also suggest that the marriage was earlier scheduled to take place in November but was later postponed until after the NDC’s Delegates’ Congress, in which Sammy Gyamfi was seeking election.
With the Congress now over, Sammy Gyamfi is now set to tie the knot with his fiancé, whose name is yet to be disclosed.
Sammy Gyamfi has a 10-year-old son but it is unclear if the lucky lady he is set to marry today is the same woman he has the child with.
