Achimota Forest Saga : Former NDC MP & Minister Boldly Defends Akufo-Addo; Says He Did No Wrong.

Former National Democratic Congress Member of Parliament who doubled as Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Honorable Mike Hamma has boldly defended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and Honorable Samuel Jinapor that they did nothing wrong.

According to him, legal negotiations by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo regarding the Achimota Forest didn't start today. He explained that it started way back in 2007 under Former President John Agyekum Kufuor.

The process was continued in the subsequent National Democratic Congress regimes. The National Democratic Congress even organised some committees to ascertain the facts regarding the Owoo family and their ownership to some Portions of the Achimota forest. It emerged that they really owned it. Again, circumstance which led government to take away the forest from them wasn't achieved. It was intended to expand the Achimota school. Neither were they compensated.

Allan Hamma stressed that, what President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo and the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources is implementing isn't a new thing.

This explanation by the National Democratic and stalwart brings an end to the cheap propaganda that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo wants to sell Portions of the Achimota Forest.
