A submission made by Gabby Otchere Darko on a new file today has surprised one of Ghana's finest journalists, Israel Laryea. The government decided to go for an IMF bailout and has been blamed on the minority in parliament by the NPP member.
Economists and financial experts have attributed the hardship in the country to mismanagement and expect the government to own up while the party faithful of the government has blamed it on the covid pandemic. Gaby, a staunch supporter of the government tried his level best to lay the blame on the Minority because E-levy was delayed for months.
Apart from that, because of NDC's parochial interest, they have decided to frustrate government business to their benefit because they want to return to power at all costs. There's no doubt that if the government was able to obtain all the revenues accrued from E-levy, it would have cushioned the finances of the economy just like many other taxes.
The ace broadcaster seems confused with the gentleman's assertion and asked if that was the case.
