Nancy Pelosi Called Biden President-Elect And Formally Seeks For Another Two Years As Speaker.

Pennsylvania would be more than enough to put Biden past the needed 270 college votes which determines the Presidency.

This gave the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, who doubles as the top Democrat in Congress, the greenlight to call Joe Biden the President-Elect. Everything is now pointing to the fact that Biden is just a step away from the Whitehouse.

"President-Elect Biden has a strong mandate to lead. A happy day for our country, Joe Biden is a unifier, because he is determined to bring people together".

She was quoted saying.

The 80 year old, wants another two years term running the house, cementing her role, for now, as the most powerful woman in the United States.

She was quoted in a message to her colleagues saying;

" Our vision for the next two years must be built on the success of Democratic House Majority in the 116th Congress, and to harness the extraordinary visions, values and vibrancy of our caucus to secure the progress that the American people deserve.

In that spirit, I am writing to request your support to be re-elected as Speaker. I do so with utmost respect for the diverse view points in our Democratic Caucus, the gravity of this role and the urgency of the challenges ahead"

Pelosi also pledges to work closely with Biden and Kamala Harris, who she referred to as President-Elect and Vice President-Elect respectively.
