Honorable Mercer Andrew the MP for Sekondi speaks about the current crisis in Ghana and how NPP is going to pass the E-levy. Honorable Adrew Mercere Egyapa and Honorable Okudzeto Ablakwa were hosted by Randy Abby on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV.
The MP for Sekondi stated that, the current crisis in Ghana should not be attributed to incompetencies by the leadership of the ruling Government. Honorable Mercer added that, NDC are only trying to prevent the incumbent president to do what is expected by standing against the E-levy. According Honorable Andrew, the E-levy will help the Government to carry out the needed project which will solve the economic crisis we are facing currently.
" I agree with you Randy. But ordinarily if Honorable Adwoa Sarfo the Member of Parliament for Dorme Kwabenya was here, we wouldn't be having this conversation. We can wait as long as she deal with the issues and return. We will pass it and we are prepared to live with the consequences. I heard Bagbin saying NPP will go into Opposition when E-DClevy is approved. We are ready to pass the E-levy when Adwo Sarfo returns and we will see how NDC can come to power in 2024." - Honorable Andrew Egyapa Mercer stated.
