I Will Use Two Seconds To Cause Twene Jonas' Deportation- Owusu Bempah Threatens

Twene Jonas is being threatened with deportation if he ever goes dirty on authorities in Ghana. Ernest Owusu Bempah, the convener of Fixing the Country Movement, says it wouldn't take him more than two seconds to trigger actions that would lead to Twene Jonas' deportation in Ghana.

According to him, the accusations leveled against him and Hopeson Yaovi Adorye of having leaked information about Twene Jonas' illegal immigration status to US authorities is untrue. He stressed that it is a propagandist campaign that had been hauled these past weeks against the government with claims that himself, Mr. Adorye and some government officials are seeking to silence Twene Jonas by deporting him to Ghana.

In an interview with Daddy Fred on the Announce Newspaper, Ernest Owusu Bempah stressed that the government has no interest in what Twene Jonas does let alone expend state resources to pursue him in the United States. He emphasized that "if I have any interest to go after him, it would take just two seconds to cause his deportation."

Mr. Owusu Bempah argued that he has the right network to smoke out Twene Jonas, should he be provoked.

"For someone who have lived among the hardcore guys in London, this could be done without stress," he reiterated.

Mr. Owusu Bempah corrected the speculation that had been trumpeted by some section of the media, mainly those within Twene Jonas' network that himself and Hopeson Adorye were sponsored by the state during the President's visit for the United Nations General Assembly in September this year. He mentioned that that claim is palpable falsehood and must be discarded.

He charged Ghanaians, especially the youth to be enlightened and resort to constructive criticisms on national issues and put an end to insults that had become a norm "for the likes of Twene Jonas and Kevin Taylor." He emphasized that in as much as there is free speech, it behooves on Ghanaians to accord respect for authorities and institutions in every criticism they raise.

Ernest Owusu Bempah concluded that the government is rather troubled by some relevant developmental issues and not the insults from Twene Jonas and Kevin Taylor who have resorted to 'brainwash' some gullible youth.
