The Bono Regional Youth Organizer for the National Democratic Congress, Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo has disclosed that the election petition in court between NPP and NDC parliamentary candidates in the last election, and Electoral commission in Techiman South Constituency has been called again.
According to him, the National Democratic Congress parliamentary candidate, Hon Christopher Bayere suffered in a motion they sort to amend some reliefs in his petition but he also gained in some request he submitted to the Wenchi high Court.
He stated that petitioner's Application for direction in the court case was granted but motion filed to amend some reliefs in their petition was rejected by the high Court. He stated that the court sees the motion filed as no difference to what they have provided already.

"29th April, 2021- Election Petition at the Wenchi High Court involving Techiman South:
1. Petitioner's application for direction granted.Thus, 1st respondent's objection overruled and a fine of GHs1000 slapped on 1st respondent in favour of Petitioner.
This application was raised by the Petitioner on 14th April, 2021 but by reason of 1st respondent's objection, parties were ordered to appear today with written legal addresses. This is what has given birth to the present ruling against the objection.
2. Motion by Petitioner to amend reliefs not allowed. The Petitioner sort to amend his reliefs. The court however finds same not necessary.
Cost of GHs500 awarded to the 1st respondent.
Case adjourned to 11th, may 2021" he said.
