For some time now, various personalities and regular Ghanaians have complained about the set-up of Joy News' Newsfile hosted by ace journalist and lawyer, Samson Anyenini Lardy.
For a long period of time, the host, Samson Lardy has had New Crusading Guide Editor-in-Chief, Kweku Baako Jnr on the show. The journalist's views are somewhat mostly controversial. Though he may have limited knowlegde on issues, Samson Lardi seems to have been inviting him to the show even though his input may not have substantial bearing to the issues at hand.
As such, people tag him as an NPP man who is invited to the show to defend the NPP's stance and opinions on various issues.
Whether or not these claims are true, it seems Samson lardy took a cue from his listeners. One Kweku Baako did not appear on the show today. Why? We do not know. Maybe his input was not needed today. Who knows.
Today's show was about the Agyapa royalties deal just as last week was. However, Kweku Baako was not invited. Today's show had Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta, Dr. Theo Acheampong (an Economist and risk analyst), Edudzi Tameklo (a lawyer and member of the NDC legal team), Dr. Toni Aubynn and Dr. Steve Manteaw representing the Alliance of CSOs.
Did Samson Lardy finally listen to his listeners? What is your opinion on this?
