The Founding President and chief executive officer of IMANI Centre for Policy and Education, Mr Franklin Cudjoe has finally reacted to the ongoing brouhaha surrounding the monthly allowances of Presidential spouses in the Republic of Ghana.
In a recent Facebook post of the social political commentator, the Chiefs and Queen mothers in Ghana receive monthly allowances from the government and that's why the first ladies should be included. He also said that Claude-Frédéric Bastiat, who was a French economist was right when he said ; "the state is the great fiction through which everyone endeavours to live at the expense of everyone else."
A random social media commentator who countered his post said Franklin Cudjoe's analysis was wrong, that it is only the paramount chiefs and paramount queen mothers that are paid by the states and these payments comes quarterly.
Franklin Cudjoe reacting to his comment sent a screenshot of proof of the information he put out on his page.
Here is a screenshot of his post and some comments from his fans and followers on Facebook;
