Massive Reaction After Madina MP Speaks on Anti-LGBTQI Bill

Ghanaians are massively against this act Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI) community. They says is against their culture, custom and traditions, and they will never allow them to penetrate into our society. The sentiment and the kind of emotions associated with legislating against this practice is very high.

Member of Parliament for Madina Constituency, Hon. Francis-Xavier Sosu speaking on Anti-LGBTQI bill, says Ghana will lose benefits if bill is passed. Adding that it has very serious consequences on the country and we will definitely lose some benefits for passing this law.

This follows after a bill read in Parliament to criminalize LGBTQI community. According to him, Parliament shouldn't be in hurry to passed anti-LGBTQI bill because some donors as part of human right record consider them as minority and may affect our donation. As human right lawyer, cautioned them not in hasty to pass the bill and let's look at the bigger picture.

Ghanaians has sparked against the argument made by the MP, condemning this practice as sinful and will never permit LGBTQI community, if we may lose all our benefits as a country. Even this will help our leaders to stand on their toes on how best to develop our own country
