Anybody Who Voted Against NDC Should Repent - John Mahama Fires

The leader for the biggest opposition party in the last election, Former President John Dramani Mahama is in the central region continuing his thank you tour and have made some interesting comment about people who voted against him and his party in 2020 elections.

Former President, John Dramani Mahama speaking on Cape Fm today, told the people of Cape Coast that they have not disappointed him although he lost the presidential election but he is happy about how the NDC vote increased in the region. He said this could show that, NDC may win the next election.

John Mahama stated that in 2016 election NDC lost everything in the region including parliamentary seats but 2020 elections saw a great come back as NDC pulls massive votes from there.

He said NDC vote increased in the central region which is about 118,000 votes. According to him, NDC won only 4 parliamentary seats in 2016 elections but the people of central region gave NDC 13 parliamentary seats in 2020 which helps them reduced NPP numbers in parliament.

"Central region was the region that gave us the number of lost seats in parliament and i thank them" John Mahama said.

He said he is motivated that they will win massively in the next election based on how Ghanaians are happy with them despite losing the 2020 elections.

"Everywhere we go Ghanaians are praising and loving us as if we won the presidential election" he told the host when asked about how Ghanaians feels towards him when touring the country to thank the people.

John Mahama further stated that he thanked everyone who vote for NDC and thanked those voted against them but what he will tell those who voted against them is that, they should repent and vote for NDC in 2024 because NDC has come to stay and will not disappoint them.
