Hon. Adwoa Safo Breaks Another Silence On Her Removal As A Minister

The Dome-Kwabenya Member of Parliament, Honorable Sarah Adwoa Safo, has finally broken the silence, following her removal from office as the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection

The latest information reported on has revealed that, Hon. Adwoa Safo; after weeks of her termination as the Minister of Gender, has sent her response to the Presidency.

According to the reports, Honorable Adwoa Safo believes that, her removal "will afford her the opportunity to focus more on the developmental needs of her constituents; and that, "she has been relieved of her ministerial position, after staying outside the country for nearly a year amid calls from critics to get her axed". again states that, "The President’s decision to act on these calls on July 28, came after Parliament also postponed a decision on her status as a representative, of her constituency. However, Madam Safo sees a silver lining in her predicament".

According to Adwoa Safo in her response to President Nana Addo, she is “cognizant of her duties to the 75,000 constituents who elected her as their representative in the 8th Parliament".

Honorable Adwoa Safo, in her response; expressed gratitude "to the Presidency for the opportunity to work at the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection", saying, "this development is opportune, and will afford me more time to concentrate on my Parliamentary responsibilities and Constituency engagements, as well as consolidate the gains we have made as a government at the Constituency level in our quest to break the eight”.
