The selection of the next flag bearer to represent the New Patriotic Party in the 2024 election is currently the problem of the party. His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has served his 8 years and automatically, he is not legible to contest for presidency again. This means the NPP will have to choose a new person to be their representative for the 2024 election.
Some supporters have already chosen His Excellency Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia the vice president to succeed Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo because they think the rate at which he is helping the president is very high. Others too have chosen Alan Kyeremanteng (Alan Cash) because they think it's time for him to have a taste of the presidential seat and also, he is one of the performing ministers in the country.
Following this, some supporters of the party have been seen in a fresh video fighting each other. It has been noted that these supporters of the party are fighting because some wants Bawumia to be their next leader after Nana Addo whiles others too wants Alan Cash to represent them.
This video has left Ghanaians with no option than to react. Some have noted that if the NPP can do this in public, then we the citizens are not safe. Others too have noted they are not fighting because of Bawumia and Alan Cash. "That is rehearsals for 2024 election. NDC is in trouble". One of the commentators funnily shared.
