The former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ejisu Juaben who is a senior member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region, Yaw Afrifa Yamoah Ponkoh who earlier on a Kumasi based radio station Pure FM said his party, the NDC is ready to spill blood in order to show the ruling NPP where power lies, has earlier this morning blamed the President for the cause of death of the Covid 19 patients especially Sir John.
According to the Yamoah Ponkor, the NPP government is ensuring the quick spread of the virus by allowing the Electoral Commission EC of Ghana to carry out its plans of compiling a new voters register.
This morning speaking on one of Despite media house, Okay FM on Kwame Nkrumah's morning show Ade Akye Abia, the former MCE exaggerated that the government must stop the EC from going ahead with its plans to elevate the quick spread of the Covid 19 virus.
“Akufo-Addo should be blamed for the death of Sir John. This is because he allowed certain things to go on which allows the virus to spread quickly. Allowing the EC to go ahead with the compilation of a new register and look at the overcrowding at some registration centres and when Ghanaians die, who caused it “, he questioned.
The host of the show tried his best to make him retrieve his statement hence apologize for making such claims but was to no avail. He later hanged up on him to continue his program.
