Ghana's State Institutions Are In Slumber Prof. Kweku Asare

Many Ghanaians have being wondering about the duties of some the state institutions in the country .because at most times the ti e that one expects these institutions to up and doing ,they are not heard rather their voices are only heard when people who in pain are òn demonstrations.

The renowned legal private practitioner and an Accountant by profession Mr Stephen Kweku Asare known in the media circles as Kweku Azar has stated that Ghanas State institutions like the Council of State ,National Peace Council ,Commission on Human Right And Administration Justice (CHRAJ) , National Commission Of Civic Education, Chieftancy ,the Media and many others are in slumber shirking their responsibilities .

According to him the state institutions have failed to realise the pains some Ghanaians are going through and only make their voices heard when those in pain resort to demonstrations, telling them to follow due process to address their grievances.

On his Facebook page it was spotted by Mynewsghana. Com in which wrote about the impending reconstitution of a new parliament and the dissolution of the seventh parliament of the Youth Republic ,he posted " without the full conclave of the Mps Elect ,the 'Habemus Speaker ' proclamation on the January 7 ,at 12:01 AM or soon after, the clerk may be heard ,will ring hollow .

Kweku Azar posted the, Ghana State Institutions ,Council of State ,CHRAJ ,NCCE ,Chieftancy ,Peace Council and the Media only act when people are seen demonstrating in the street .There is no way our state institutions feel the pains of the ordinary citizens ,the only time they get their voices to speak is when victims are on demonstrations to do what the constitution says .

The Times when the constitution is relayed to the background ,nobody hears them speak a word .Our SALL brothers have been gravely injured and none of the state institutions have said anything about their plight up to this day,yet when they take to street ,these toothless institutions will begin to speak, shame on them .

The Director of the Parliamentary Affairs Of Ghana Kate Addo in a statement has said that, the 7th Parliament of the Fourth Republic will be dissolved at midnight of 6th January ,2021 .Parliament aware of the various activities and provision in the Parliamentary Transition Act 2012 ( 845 )and the 1992 constitution has outlined programme to mark the various activities that will dissolve the 7th Parliament and inaugurate the 8th Parliament to facilitate the swearing - in of the President elect of the Republic Ghana .

Our state institutions are completely disappointing and relaxing on their responsibilities .What is your stake, please share.
