The National Youth Organiser of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), has urged the national headed national security headed by Major General Francis Adu Amanfo rtd to put a reputable lawyer and a member of Fix the country movement, Mr. Oliver Mawuse Barker-Vormawor, under surveillance for welcoming the coup d'etat in Guinea.
Nana B condemned the comments and called on national security to keep an eye on him.
Mr. Oliver Mawuse Barker-Vormawor who is a known critic of the government and considered a loud voice of the Fix the country movement has been posting a series of Facebook remarks following the big news from Guinea.
In one instance which rips feathers, Mr. Barker-Vormavor said Neho! I welcome the news of a military coup in Guinea.
“Still waiting for confirmation of its success. Hopefully, a new transition process is put in place quickly. Guinea shall work again.”
However, this comment did not go down well with Nana Henry Boakye popularly Nana B who felt the comment is a security threat and has called for National Security to put the private legal under surveillance.
So this FIX THE COUNTRY chant is all about applauding a military coup. Barker H Vogues is the leader of this fix the country group and he is celebrating this nonsense. I implore our national security to keep a close eye on this individual and his assigns. It’s too bad he’s a lawyer.”
