Elections are held in a day but has a long and cumbersome road to reach the destination. We have few months just after general elections were held in Ghana. The disappointed party in the elections as far as the results are concerned is my lovely party the NDC.
God willing there is another bright chance come 2024 where there will be another polls but is the party really preparing grounds for the ultimate price?
Will the party wait for last days before it starts bringing their people together?
Will the party at the grassroot wait before getting its members the vital information as far as what is happening in the country is concerned?
Has the party being able to think about getting leaders who will be able to bring many people who are on the other side of the political divide or indecisive in making choices in elections as elections are about numbers?
Has the party at the grassroots sat down and reflected on what accounted for the poor performance at certain polling stations, electoral areas and constituency at large?
Does the party have data of its core member's children who will turn eighteen at anytime the electoral commission opens its books for registration and how often does leadership meets such children and the kind of information they give to them ?
Has the party executives at the grassroot being able to visit the various electoral areas to say words of appreciation to them for voting for NDC at those areas?
Is the NDC party aware that millions of its own party members were not aware of what was in the last election's manifesto of the party let alone understanding the vital issues in there thereby convincing others?
Is the party from the grassroot to the national ultimates aim is power or glorifying individuals?
There are numerous questions to ask but let's reflect on only these for the beginning and see the way forward.
As I said the road to the ultimate is long and cumbersome but we shall definitely reach there if we get to know our ultimate price to achieve.
