A resident of East Legon got extremely angry at a demolition exercise carried out by Accra Metropolitan Assembly. According to her, she voted for the current government yet they had the audacity to destroy her and her small plywood structure.
" Why should you do this to me ? You act as if you came into power with your own power. I voted for you with my thumb for peace and not demolition. You're not giving us jobs. You have no sympathy for us" The lady angrily fired in a video attached to this article.
" The demolition is becoming plenty. You sleep comfortably with your family members but you don't want us to sleep comfortably in our plywood structure " She added.
" Where is our MP? You guys have thought me a great lesson. 2024 we shall see. I'm totally disappointed " The angry lady added in almost tears.
