As the presidential spouses salary was initiated by the Parliament of Ghana. There has been several backlash towards the first and the second lady of Ghana.
The first lady and the second lady has rejected the salaries proposal and has promised to refund any allowances received from 2017 to date.
This has made angry youth of New Patriotic Party (NPP) leading by National Youth Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye popularly known as Nana B, warmed the former first lady Lordina Mahama to refund all allowances received or they will engage in massive demonstration against her.
Ghanaian lawyer and former presidential staffer, Gabby Asare Otchere Darko also warned the angry NPP Youth to direct their attacks towards former president John Dramani Mahama.
